Elena Notkina is a Russian born choreographer who has performed with various dance companies in Russia and the US, notably the “Karambol” State Musical Theatre in St. Petersburgh, Russia. Her credits include Thumbelina, Snow White, and The Letters of Vertinsky.
Eleyna has choreographed The Miser (a comedy by Jean-Baptiste Moliere) and Aleko (an opera by Sergei Rachmaninoff). In New York City her works have been included in several festivals. She was selected for the Dance Canvas Choreographer Initiative (in Atlanta, GA) in 2019 and again in 2020.
Her most recent work is the dance suite Goyescas choreographed for Hub City Opera. And she was in the Off-Broadway show Raskolnikov and The Pawnbroker as an actress and choreographer.
