Richard Winkler is the proud recipient of ten Tony Awards and six Olivier Awards. Beginning his career as a producer in 2009, following a worldwide 35-year career as a lighting designer for theatre and opera, he has been represented in the West End and on Broadway with: The Motive & The Cue, Macbeth, A Mirror, The Hills of California, Dear England, Lyonesse,The Drew McOnie Nutcracker, Leopoldstadt, The Inheritance, The Ferryman, Come From Away, The Lehman Trilogy, Patriots, Dr. Semmelweis, Life of Pi, The Doctor, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella,and Memphis, The Musical. This season he is represented on Broadway with Merrily We Roll Along, The Who’s Tommy, Stereophonic, and Patriots.
