Mishqah Parthiephal was born and raised in Durban, South Africa and landed her first film role in 2010. She has been acting ever since and now lives in Johannesburg. She played Jodi Kandasamy in the movie Keeping Up with the Kandasamys and its sequel Kandasamys: The Wedding. She also played the lawyer Priya Sehgal in the Netflix comedy series The Indian Detective.
Mishqah is now moving behind the camera as a writer and director.
