Geoff Gersh is a musician and composer.

He explores the sonic boundaries of the electric guitar with and without the aide of electronic devices and found objects to produce sounds one would normally not associate with the guitar.

He has been playing electric zither for the Blue Man Group since 1998 and subbed on Broadway’s Rock of Ages from 2012-2015. Before COVID, he was performing live music to silent films monthly at the Nitehawk Cinema in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with his bands Black Lodge & Reel Orchestrette.

He creates music through his moniker Ambient Fields. While NYC was under quarantine he visited every single neighborhood in NYC, over 375 locations, and made a field recording to document the quieter city. In all, he collected over 30 hours of sounds.”
