The Perfect Fifths
Taylor Ferrera is a songwriter and musical theatre writer living in New York City. She co-wrote the musical Propaganda which was produced at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. It is currently being turned into a musical podcast to be released this summer.
As a songwriter, her specialty is political satire. She had a viral his with her song Legitimate Rape, about congressman Todd Akin’s statements that some rape is legitimate. Her YouTube music channel has received over a million views.
Another songwriting trait is that all her songs are earworms. She co-wrote the "Say Hello" sing-a-long for Jill Twiss’s book The Someone New. Taylor arranges songs for and performs with The Perfect Fifths, an a cappella quintet.
