A mother, Honorably Discharged Army Veteran, educator, social service professional and corporate disruptor, J.W. is also a certified to train and work in the areas of Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice and Belonging (DEIJ&B), racial healing and the like.
J.W. is an abolitionist and believes the best way to achieve collective equity and liberation, is to dismantle the current supremacist systems and practices and rebuild them. She has studied systemic oppression, American imperialism, political theory, the harmful impacts of colonization, globally, and racial healing, extensively, and applies what she has learned when called upon to coach/train others and assess organizational culture.
In her spare time, J.W. writes and edits others’ writing. She has written under an undisclosed pen name for about 15 years. In that same vein, because fake worlds are sometimes better than real ones, J.W. developed an affinity for ghost writing — all genres, but a lot of trashy romance and political theory.
J.W. has a phenomenal 17 year-old daughter, whom she loves dearly.
